Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain
Alpine Slide has five snow tubing lanes. Other features include a covered magic carpet and snow making capabilities. Pregnant women and children under 36 inches tall are prohibited from tubing. Magic Mountain offers other activities such as the Alpine slide which is open year around and is California’s only authentic bobsled experience.

Big Bear Snow Play
Big Bear snow play has the longest tubing runs in Southern California. Other features include a covered magic carpet, snow making capabilities and lighting so tubing doesn’t have to end once it gets dark. Pregnant women and children under 36 inches tall are prohibited from tubing. Big Bear is open every day from 10am – 4pm during the season except on Christmas Day when it opens at 11am.

Blizzard Mountain Tubing – Sierra at Tahoe
Blizzard Mountain snow tubing hill features 2 lanes and a tow. Children shorter than 42 inches must be accompanied by an adult while tubing. A snow play area is also available for children to build snowmen and have fun in the snow. Snow tubing tickets are valid for 1.5 hours and are sold on a first come first serve basis.

Hansen’s Resort
Hansen’s Resort features a smaller tubing hill with two lanes that are 400 feet long. Since there are no magic carpet lifts or tows you will have to carry your tube back up the hill using a walkway. Open daily from 10am to 3-4pm during the season. Children ages 4 and under can tube for free if accompanied by a paying adult. Tickets are valid for one hour of snow tubing and cost $40 per person. Parking is free.

Leland Snow Play
Located at 6,300 feet in the Stanislaus National Forest, Leland Snow Play has several tubing lanes with varying degrees of difficulty along with 2 tows. It is family owned and operated. Ticket prices vary depending on if you want all mountain access or only lower mountain access for smaller children. Open 7 days a week during the season.

Located at 6,500 feet in the San Bernardino National Forest, Snow Drift is the largest and oldest operating snow tubing park in Southern California. There are no tows or magic carpet lifts so you will get your exercise walking back up the hill. Tubing lanes vary between beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. Snow tubing sessions are $20 for one hour and children 36 inches tall or under are free if accompanied by a paying adult. Open 7 days a week during the season.

Tube Town – Soda Springs Mountain Resort
Tube Town has up to 10 snow tubing lanes and a magic carpet lift. There is a separate area called Planet Kids that features smaller tubing slopes specifically for children ages 8 and under. Soda Springs Mountain Resort offers other winter activities including skiing and snowboarding.
